    Mission
wThis institute was established in order to carry out examination, test, research and survey in regard to public health and the environment. (Stipulated in the ordinance on the establishment of Fukui Prefectural Institute of Publich Health and Environmental Science, implemented on April 1, 2002.)

wNovember, 1972    Moved to Harame-cho, Fukui-city.
wMay, 1991    Center on Pollution developed into Center on Environment.
wMay, 1995    Environmental Radiation Research and Monitoring Center was established from Institute of Public Health.
wMay, 1995    Center on Environment developed into Environmental Research Center.
wApril, 2002    Institute of Public Health and Environmental Research Center integrated into this institute.
